Old Lahaina Lu'au to throw Buy Back the Beach bash
Hosted by the Old Lahaina Lu'au at its oceanfront site on Front Street in Lahaina, the event will feature island cuisine by four chefs, live music by HAPA, dancers, and laughs under the stars. You may dine at conventional tables with chairs, or closer to the stage on low mats with low tables in the traditional Hawaiian style. The special tasting menus were created by the chefs of Star Noodle, Old Lahaina Lu'au, Aloha Mixed Plate and the new Leoda's Kitchen & Pie Shop. The Hawaiian Island Land Trust (HILT) invites you to a rollicking evening under the stars on Saturday for its 11th annual Buy Back the Beach benefit.

Recently, I invited BFF over to take some Jello Cheesecake (post forthcoming… I’m a little behind with writing) and I asked if she had eaten dinner yet… AND she hadn’t.

This really is the missing ingredient to all of your attempts at making traditional japanese food! It may seem odd that fish is used as a "spice",...
It is the missing ingredient in miso soup recipes if yours doesn't call for bonito- this has lots of salt and MSG though. It doesn't work for me...
